Of massive proportions, with rounded surfaces, but with rectangular bridle cf. Cat. 683, ogival frizzle with medial ridge, jaw-screw pierced and slotted, cock-body with back-catch notch (catch now missing), inscribed J. GEORGE ERTTEL on the lower chamfer at the front, and A.AMSTERDAM on the upper chamfer, marked on the inside with an underlined T (? not in St.).
